ITS Designer has been developed to allow you to design bespoke Training Courses for virtually any subject matter, with the aid of multi-media formats such as interactive graphics, video, screen movies, external programs and text. The resulting courses are run by the companion application, ITS Playback.
ITS Playback is a companion application to ITS Designer. It is used by the trainee to run the Training Courses produced with ITS Designer.
ITS Manager is another companion application to ITS Designer. It is used by training managers to track the activity and performance of trainees, when they run courses in ITS Playback. It is also used to control which users have access to which training courses and the various areas of The ITS Suite itself.
The Screen Capture utility enables the Training Course designer to take a snapshot of a computer screen in whole or in part. The resulting snapshot can be saved in the database, and used as a Training Course item.
The Microsoft Clipboard Viewer is the standard Windows utility. It is used together with the Screen Capture utility to capture screen elements, such as dropped-down menus and lists.
The Screen Camera utility enables the Training Course designer to record a moving sequence of events on a computer screen. The resulting movie can be saved in the database, and used as a Training Course item.
The e-Book Writer utility enables the Training Course designer to create printable electronic books, which can contain hyperlinks, images, hotspots, sound, videos, et al. The resulting e-book can be saved in the database, and used as a Training Course item.
This is the Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer utility, which is a third-party program. It runs a presentation created with Microsoft PowerPoint. The presentation can be saved in the database, and used as a Training Course item.
This is a Training Course on ITS Designer itself. Not only does it provide a demonstration of the power of ITS, but it can also be used as a pattern on which to base other Training Courses.
These can be used as templates, which can be used in Training Course preparation.
